the steering wheel is harder to control, almost like your going to lose control of the car. i was told that all the brakes n such were new, only 200 or so miles on them

if its only when your on the brakes then chances are its a warped rotor. They could have put new brakes in, and not turned the rotor or put new rotors on. so new pads would still shimmy on the old rotors.

First, bring it to a local shop that you trust and have it diagnosed first to keep from spending $$ unesessarily. And if you have to replace one rotor, then replace both of them. Oh, and you'll probably have to replace your brake pads again while your at it. If the rotors are warped, it can cause warpage to the new pads.

if you want I can take a look at it. i'm ASE certified although in my current job I've not had to use it since i started. I also have a associate degree in automotive restoration technology. so I'm been around cars for awhile. if your interested in having me do that shoot me a PM.

Ya, I guarantee (cant spell) that it is warped rotors. 95% sure it is front, mainly because Hondas only use the rear less than 20% of the time. If your wheel is shaking that bad, chances are they are beyond "turning" repair and should be replaced. If you turn them, you'll probably warp them even more right away due to less iron to absorb heat. I can slap some rotors on for ya. Either at my place of work or on the side. Just let me know and Ill let ya know what you'd be looking at price wise.

Youre looking at about $25-$35 a rotor plus labor. I usually charge $35 an hour on the side at home. Wont take long at all. Depending on what you want, Ill do them for $80 with parts (just $30 labor), $100 for a better "premium" rotor, which you probably dont really need to worry about getting. Or you can just get them yourself and have someone on here do them for you. Just let us know.
