1992 Prelude Si for parts or repair

I just got this prelude SI from a friend because he didn't want to fix it.

Its a 1992 Si with the 2.3L 4cyl and a automatic. Has working air conditioning, good tranny, sunroof, power everyhting and a really nice grey cloth interior. The body is blue and mostly in nice condition other than damage to the passenger door and quarter panel, otherwise the rest of the car is perfect. Has the stock si aluminum wheels with new tires.

The problem with the car is it knocks at low rpms and is leaking oil by the oil filter. I figure $600 obo

Ya you can come look at it, the oil leak will have to be fixed though before it can be driven. you can see it at

Since no one was interested, I found a engine and am fixing the car. If still interested it will be in good running condition next week.

The old engine is out of the car and the new engine is ready to put in today. Hope to have it running by tomarrow. I will have it for sale for $1500 with the passenger side damage or $3500 fixed with new paint.

The only way I will sell it now is fixed, since the car is in pieces and ready for the new engine. Cost me a nice chunk of change for a new engine and tranny with 70K.
