-
Not to quick off the line but enough torque to tear a pony in half.
-
yeah, takes about a mile or so to get to 45 mph....depending on the load of course..
Brought about 50 new 06 cummings turbo desiel trucks to Harvey today...
-
does it also block off traffic during rush hour?
bastards
-
hobo taxi expresss
-
yes, we do block traffic...usually doing 10-20mph with a 6000 foot train...and laugh at all the people waiting in line

-
When you gonna trade up for the 4400 hp model?

-
you need to change your sig to that now instead of the maxima.
Ry
-
we got some 4400hp ones too....we usually use 2 units anyways so its like 8000 hp...
Anyone looking for a job you can send a resume in....its great pay.
-
dunno how fast they can go....the fastest we can go is 49 mph...becuase that is out limit...
but if we wanted im sure we could go 70-80 with a full train.....just a engine itself would go faster than that im guesing
-
Fastest I've went so far is 70 mph, that's fast enough in a freight train for me. You work out of Enderlin?
-
yeah i work out of enderlin...
BNSF is the only company that allows their trains to go over 60.
They kill alot of people and have alot of accidents every year though,

Well if people would quit laying on the tracks that may solve most of the problems.

UP goes that fast too, I'm sure there are others also. As far as having a lot of accidents and killing alot of people it's kinda hard not to do even statisticly speaking when you're one of the biggest railroads in the world. Not that that's great or something, just happens. I was just asking cuz I graduated from Harvey and went to school with half the people that work there or in Enderlin. Graduated with Eric Johnson, Allen Schlicting, Jeremy Thornson, Mike Fiest, and Waylon Zuther.

yeah i see them guys every once in awhile...i dont think UP goes that fast but they might...i never see them so im not sure...and yeah it is hard not to have any fatalities being its so hard to stop a 4,000 ton train thats over a mile long...but so far this year CPRail hasnt killed anyone.
