Windows Media Player 11, Can't get it to install.

So I just downloaded WMP 11 Beta and it won't install. It says I have to be running windows media center edition 2005 and above, and I am running that OS.
What the hell. Has anybody else download it yet and have had any problems like this?

I'm running windows xp and it installed fine on all 4 i installed it on

ichibahnkilla change your sig....it slows the internet explorer wayy down.....its gay anyways.

good for a chuckel i'd say he must have a modem connection that caused him to slow down
