Might Lose My F***ing License

Alright so here is the story, I am driving along minding my own buisniss (SP?) (obeying the laws) when this old lady and her son pull out in front of me going like 35-40mph on 13th avenue. So, I slam on my brakes to avoid rear ending her then i get in the left lane and she gets in the left lane in front of me. Going about 25mph. So i floor it and get in the left lane to pass her and she speeds up. So i go faster and get in front of her. Then slow down to about 35(which is the speed limit on 13th ave) She passes me and gets in front of me and slows down to 25 again. At this point I am thinking WTF is wrong with this lady. And then i started to move over to the turning lane and she slams on her brakes and i almost hit her again. THen after i finally get away from this lady i stop at a friends house and bs for a little bit. And after i get home my dad confronts me about the cops coming to my house and saying that i harassed this old lady. Now she is filing charges on me for harassment and the cops are giving me reckless endangerment and my license revoked for 6 months. So all in all this lady told the cops i was swerving at her and flicking her and passing her at excessive speeds. This lady was driving a new black Jeep Grand Cherokee and driving like a complete asshat. This is ridiculous because the cops didnt see what happened and all they know is that i was supposedly driving like an idiot and messing with this lady which i wasnt. The cops arent going to beleive a 17yr old kid whose had his license for a little over a year and a half over a 40+ yr old woman. THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!

citizen tickets suck, get a public defender and take it to court and see what happens. good lawyers can get you out of lots of shit. i would fight any ticket that wasnt given to me directly by a cop or else there is exact proof you did it as in video or pics.

i hate to say but speaking from someone that know how you feel, but you might be SOL. but go fight it and do what John said get a public defender

Tell the bitch to not pull out in front of you so late that you had to change lanes to avoid hitting her.

just get a public defender and take it to court...you prolly will have to pay money up front but since its just for a minor traffic thing you shouldnt....she probably wont show up so you'll win.....
...this has happened to me before....guy turned me in for running a stop sign....he has a lawyer...i showed up by myself and still won.

yeah or you could get bruce quick...i had him as a laywer once....good guy...but cost $5k.

Sounds like me when a van of mexicans flipped me off so i flipped them back off and drove by. Long story short, cops ended up at my house and said the people wanted to file charges but since no officer was there to witness the crime they couldnt do anything about it and that i was just supposed to watch it. I don't see how the rule can be changed for you, except for the whole different state different laws thing...good luck man.

the kind of car you drive and the age bracket you are in basically dicks you. good luck not losing your liscense. write down the story and call the police with it. if nothing else you will be able to recite your own in court and hers, well, pray it deviates from the complaint she made.

THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!You started it and you kept on giving her road rage. No one is to blame but yourself. She should have not pulled out infront of you that was wrong. But that happens to 100,000's of people aday around the world. Guess what deal with it thats part of driving a vechile.
I dont think you need your license taken away, but you need some self control.:icon_study:

Had the same shit today as some asshole sat on my back bumper for about 12blocks and I was already doin about 30-32 in a 25 so finally I said fuck it slowed to 25. The guy honked so I threw my hand in the air like WTF and the guy passed my on a busy residential missing on comming traffic by about a 2 feet, then proceeded to slam on his brakes and be a real jack ass for about a 6 more blocks, when he saw me writing down his plate #'s and trying to make a phone call for about the next two blocks. To bad for him my phone was dead.
Never did I do anything to provoke his rudeness.
Also noted this asshole was driving a Black Jeep Grand Cherokee.
