You have no idea what you are talking about... not to be mean, but you sound like a 9 year old after watching fast and the furious.

An integra gsr is a good car, but I think it would be a little too much $$ to use as just a race car...

Honestly, mod your car before anything else.... slowly you will know more and more about cars and eventually u will know enough to start a project...

I jumped into several projects not knowing wtf i was doing and I wasted a lot of time and money.

                          no race car? becuz homeowner...

If you're going to sell your car, get a 92-95 hatchback, and swap in an LS motor. Then throw a 50 shot at it, that's an awesome bang for the buck deal right there.

Ok Ok. the car is a supercharged GSR integra. It has a stage 3 clutch. It has over 9k under the hood. I think it has suspension. 48,000 Miles 1998 i believe not quite sure. If i traded in my car I could get that car for about 8k. Make more sense now? Sorry I was on my way to work or sleep or something with the rest of my posts.

Hey guys I am looking at using my current 2000 civic ex as a daily driver. I was wondering what 1/4 mile times you guys are running as I am looking for a project car and what would be the fast. Opinions accepted. But I would really just like the times and what kind of cars. Thanks much

You're looking for a project car to be quick in the 1/4 mile?

Couple ideas could be to perhaps get an 04 Mach 1, or could go with the 03-04 Cobra and replace the IRS with a solid axle. Might just be easier to bolt a blower to a Mach though. Even a Lightning is fun to take down the strip.

Could just go with an LS1 F-body and call it a day.

There's also older cars such as the Buick Grand National you could look at.

Otherwise if your budget can't nab you one of those, you could find an older Mustang or Camaro to start wrenching on. Or a slew of others, el-caminos, novas, torinos, whatever. Possibilities are limitless I guess.

I think I am going to stick with the import scene. That is kind of what I prefer.
