We took the hatch down to Thunder Valley for some test and tune. Fri night they had a stret legal event which went from 7pm till about 1am. Traction wasn't the best but basically we were lookin to just make some passes. Best pass fri night 11.8@121.
Sat ran test and tune early afternoon which they did limited track prep as it was just trials preparing for the night shootout. Made 5-6 passes. Best passes 11.7@123, 11.6@124, 11.6@125 last pass of the day 11.5@121. Last pass we ran into some misfiring issues as soon as the car went into 4th gear so it coasted to the 11.5 w/ the low 121 trap. Most impressive pass netted 101mph 1/8th trap. Last pass would have been the $$ ss if it would have went smooth from the pace of the rest of the passes,guessing would have ran a 11.3@127-128. But we did meet out goal for the weekend of 11.5@125. Wish we could have made it into the niht racing as some of the locals said they prep very well for the shootout and we'd most likely shave a few tenths off the 60'.
