Hey dave I was wondering how many two speeds have u gone through??? mine just went out

I think he is on his first 2 speed powerglide, but went through a TH350 twice before making the switch...I could be wrong.

Yeah two speeds are awsome trannies Im still ont he first one but the gears were grinding I'll find out more whats wrong with it tomorrow when the have it apart

I had my glide built with a lot of good parts before I started racing with it. It was in very good shape my tranny builder said. I haven't had any probs with it. I did break the TH350 twice last year, it was built with good parts also, but the sprag kept breaking.

Yeah hey guess what my "Planetary Shaft" went out one of the hardest parts to find and replace in the two speed

well it sort of was a community ? Wanted to hear other opinions from other people not just dave, because dave is the only one I know on here that has a Two speed

Good aftermarket planetaries are horribly expensive also ($700 or so). There is someone here on the board that works at a salvage yard, see if he can hook you up with a used one.
