I've never seen my connection speed drop that low on cable....lowest I've seen recently is 1mb during high traffic times of night.

Around the NDSU area it used to get brutal with cable one. Got DSL now, problem solved.

In my neighborhood dsl does not compare to the 4mb package cable one has.

my mom has the 3mb cable and my dad has 3mb DSL and the cable owns the dsl

There's no pop-ups on my page. I was referring to the stuff highlighted in blue that gives you a little shortcut when you drag your cursor over it. It's really not a big deal. I just love fucking with Jim and even Brian.

Very right. I do alot of Dl'ing and I have yet to even come close to using a fraction of my available connection. But, it is nice to have the available speed if there's ever a need.

I do however have 3 computers at my place all using the same connection as well so the extra is just peace of mind during high traffic times.
