Sweet Universal Cell Phone Mod
-
I dont know if anyone else does this, but I just got a new phone on warranty and was in the process so I figured i would post it up.
I have a lg vx9800 and For some reason, the way they designed it, the inside screen always gets scratched up no matter how good you take care of your phone due to the crap that gets cought in the hinge(bjornstad knows what I'm talking about).
I got sick of this so I went to Kmart in search of a solution. I tryed to find a pda screen protector but they were all like 10 bucks for a pack of 2, so...
I went to the picture frames aisle and picked up some Scotch brand Photo Laminating sheets. The self sticking ones, not the heat shrink ones. I stuck them on both screens of my phone and VERY Carefully trimmed off the excess. They sstuck for 6 months without a problem and came off leaving no residue when i sent my last phone in for warranty. Just a little thing for you folks that hate getting your cell phone screens scrathed. -
this would have been nice to know awhile back when I first got my "V".....now it is all scratched/chipped up.

I have brought mine in with Intermitant camera button problems... It was a problem with the first software... If you go in and complain about your phone freezing up, they'll give you a new one on warranty... also, might wanna check out ebay, they have some sweet ass cases for the phone out now that actually cover up both screens and isnt just a pouch. I ordered one and i'm awaiting its arrival anxiously. -
You can get a 15 pack of Fellows universal screen protectors for like $10 at best buy...
The nice thing about it is that when you remove the protector, no residue, and also its got these nice lines to cut / line up when making the proper size, and it reduces glare and comes with an applicator card thing
I have a PDA and these things are a must...
