Well I guess I wasn't quick enough calling this morning about that GVR4. Some kid supposedly went to look at it this morning and said he was going to take it. BUT he had to wait until like Friday for his dad to look at it or get money or some bullshit. So I went over there anyways to check it out and listen to it run. And the guy would NOT sell it to me! I had cash in my hands, willing to take it home that minute. So I guess I'll have to wait and see if that other kid falls through crosses fingers.

It started up and ran just fine. Sounded nice and quiet, but I didn't get to drive it. The guy said it does smoke a little when you get on it. It has some body damage that needs to be fixed. Needs a new hood, passenger's side fender, corner light, and could use paint on the rear bumper too.

damnit that woulda been a pretty easy fix...i guess we'll see a gvr4 roaming the streets soon with someone owner at the wheel...unless he doesnt come through with the money -

I'd see how the Galant ran, and if it had something wrong w/ the motor, I just happen to have a spare 95 piston/90 rod motor sitting at the machine shop that's freshly rebuilt.

What's the news, did you get it?Yep, I got it alright. I called him around 5:15 today and the original purchaser still hadn't come through so I told him I was coming to get it. I got it and everything its cool with the car. The guy I bought the car from called me about 2 hours later, saying that he got ahold of the original owner (title holder) of the car, and he had some weird news. So his daughter, who owns the car is in Puerto Rico or something, AND she still has a loan on the car for some reason. So I don't really know how this is all going to work out and how the whole title situation is going to work. But I am going to do what ever I can to keep the car and get the title. Anyone have any good ideas or legal info that I can use to make sure that I can keep this car?
