Because i wanted coupe, AWD and more options for reliable upgrades than any other car i can find. Plus, a billion years of reliable rally must have taught them something.

        because tahoes are pimp...

wanted to dump the explorer for something more reliable and wanted a fullsize so that down the road I can pull a loaded 18' dovetail if the cards so fall that direction. Was looking at fullsize x-cab pickups when I found the Tahoe. Tahoe rode better than the pickups, turned a shitbunch better in tight areas, had plenty of room in back for all the shit I tend to carry around, and will work good if I so happen to get married and have kids in the next 5-10 years. Also found out it was a babied 1 owner and the price was only about $6k over my budget.

Then in the long run it'll still haul if necessary.

Next car will hopefully be a 96-98 SVT cobra in black. Why? Like the body style the best, quick enough out of the box to keep me entertained, and boatloads of potential.

I chose my SVX because it was cool lookin. Um I really didn't get a chance to make much of a decision, I had crashed my car and was just lookin for somethin. And I looked at the subaru and an E30 Bimmer. I did like the bimmer better, but my dad ended up getting the svx for some reason. Next car will probably be an E36 M3 but as I keep looking, I see that these things are damn expensive to mod, so maybe something else. I need suggestions

When I bought my car in 2001 it was one of very few new affordable turbocharged cars available, had a solid reputation in rally, and aesthetically was my favorite car on the market. I didn't know a whole hell of a lot about the "scene" or about modding imports in general when I first bought the car.

I bought mine because I needed a new car, and it was the best bang for the buck. I had a few other cars on my list, but this one made the most sense.

Plus it's the fastes car 3vAr!

I got mine cause it was 2dr, 5spd, lightweight (great power to weight ratio) and small, good handling, have a lot of potential, reliable, good gas milage. They've also been in the tuning world for years so there's plenty of parts out there, and had set many records in drag racing when imports started getting popular.

I knew I wanted RWD, good mileage, and something that really makes you feel like you're driving, not being driven. Its that intangable feeling where you become the road.

And its probably the only RWD car that would fit my budget.

Conquest, because when I had my fwd n/a audi 5000 I wanted something rear drive with a v8. So I got a 95 tunderbird that was reliable and plush and looked great. Then I decided I wanted a car with these requirments: RWD, 5sp, 4 cyl, turbo, and Independant Rear Suspension. Only one car fit the bill.

I had been looking at BMW's on ebay since I was like 14... and I always wanted one, so when I was able to come up with the cash it was one of the first big things I bought.

Adam and I went and test drove the mercedes and it was fun as hell (also another car I had been wanting since the previous generation), and I kinda impulse bought it the next day. I kinda regret it but whatever...

Because it was cheap, RWD, and plenty of aftermarket support. And it's not a Honda.
