I've been looking into DD's, and was starting to consider a Merc marauder. What are your thoughts on the car?

they are solid cars and I think they're rather good looking.

I doubt you're looking for some sort of wild DD but Trilogy makes a blower kit for those that'll put them in the 12s IIRC.

          I'd like to have one...

If its for a DD, hows the gas mileage and reliability? Are those considerations for a DD?

In town, probably 14-16. highway is 22 from what I read. Which I can handle.

ooof, what's curb weight on those?

That seems low to me. My 4.6L powered 4000lb Tbird managed upwards of 30 on the highway and only dipped to 15-16 when I drove it really hard.

                          1. It has a bit more hp than a Tbird. That could probably be why.
