Well I got yet another project this past weekend, hopefully this one will go a little faster than the others and be done for next spring. Its a 1986 Porsche 944, 4cyl, 5 speed, with 80K. As you can tell from the pictures it had a little accident a few weeks ago. I was going to buy it before it burned, but the car started fire literally 1/2 hour before I came to get it, a fuel line came off and sprayed the exhaust and that was it, I showed up with cash and see the fire department. Lets just say I paid a lot less for it then and my plans changed a little.

Fire wasn't bad, mainly destroyed the dash and wiring. Engine is still good and along with the rest of the car, just interior is beyond shot.

My plan is to gut the car completely, and get a www.renegadehybrids.com kit and install a small block chevy engine, full race cage, race seats, aluminum dash and painless wiring harness.
