Wii

Just curious as to how many others managed to pick up a Wii today.....if you are interested or not, well, just play it. It is by far one of the most interesting machines out there right now. I seriously havn't been this intreged by a game system in a long time. Ya, the 360 and PS3 have better graphics and use the usual controls. But this is by far one of the most fun, let alone a workout, things I have ever purchased. All I can remember is back in the day when I was young and originally played Mario and was usuing the controller and making jumping actions. Well, they finally made it actually do something, AND MORE!!!! Go check it out and get ready for a new exciting way to play.

I got one and its great what games did you get?

I got Zelda, Rayman, Red Steel, Super Monkey Ball, and of course Wii Sports. Zelda is freakin sweet and one hell of a different way to play the game.
Edit: After 9 hours of playing yesterday.....MY ARMS ARE FREAKIN TIRED AS HELL!!!

lol how are the other games you bought, would you recommend them, i bought Zelda and Happy Feet as well as Wii Sports

red steel is pretty cool. reminds me of golden eye. Raymen is different and is very interesting. Monkey ball is an awesome party game like all the other versions have been. Ive also downloaded the original zelda and wario woods.

I would like to hear more about how well the controller works? How are the in game graphics?the analogy i like to use is remember when we originally played mario back when we were young and you used the controller like you were trying to make him jump? I know everyone did it the first time they played it. Well, now you have to do it. The controllers sense every single thing you do. Tilt, swing, raise, lower, side to side, front to back, quick up/down, yaw, dip, roll, etc etc. The games help you throughout to try and make the correct movements when needed. It is unbelievable.
the graphics, from my point, are a lot like the PS2/xbox graphics. I had heard a lot of reviews where they said they were barely better than the gamecubes......NOT. The graphics are way better and I believe they are slightly better than xbox/PS2.
This counsel itself, is not only a Wii, but a Gamecube too. Has controller ports for gamecube controllers and mem cards. The media slot uses the same gamecube games. Has internal memory to save your progress along with your downloaded content. Has SD mem slot to have more memory. The features go on and on.
Words truely cannont do justice on this thing. I have played more the past 2 days than i have in over a year and a half. Nintendos goal was to bring back the old gamers, along with the non-gamers. They have succeeded. Cant spell.

It's all fine and dandy that it plays gamecube games, but I would still need my gamecube for my GBA player that I use so I can play Mario 3, etc
Either way, sounds like something I could play.im still keeping my gamecube too. but im sure that mario 3 will be available to download very quick.
Searching online, many reviews already have popped up saying it is the counsel to have now because it is simply a "fun machine".
