If a parking brake is never used, the one time that it is it has a good chance of locking up. Pull off your back wheels, pull the brakes apart, manually push everything back into place. If you want to use your parking brake again then get new cables and make sure everything that should be lubed up inside the drum is lubed up. If you don't want to use it again then pull the cable off the parking brake actuating lever so it doesn't happen again by accident. 🙂

like i said, if you use it pull it all apart, lube where you are supposed to, replace cables and be done with it.
