FS:1986 pontiac TRANS AM
-
i know this might get deleted because i have no pics but i plan on describing the car in detail to the best of my knowledge. i am selling for my dad but we live in different towns.
The Car is a 1986 Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am. 5000 miles on Fully Rebuilt V6 Motor and Fully Rebuilt Tranny. The car has Smoked Glass T-Tops. The Paint is Crap, No rust but really damaged by the sun. The Interior is dirty and torn, one of the pop up headlights needs a new motor for the light to go up and down, but the car runs and drives good and is still decently (fast LOL) The car still has all 4 Factory Wheels with decent tires. My Dad is Asking $3000 or BEST OFFER.

I'll give you $300 since thats all a old firebird with bad paint and a V6 is worth. If it didn't have t-tops I would offer $100.

ya, sorry man, they arent worth anything, it was a waste to rebuilt that V-6, shoulda dropped in a V-8, or well hell, really shoulda but a 2JZ in there but...
-
yeah i told my dad that he would never get that much for it but he figures that he will because of the rebuilt motor and tranny and crap. he actually has like $4000 into all the rebuilding and stuff but yeah the car looks like shit and it does run good but cant even whip a 360 on gravel. Trust me i have tried more than once. but i figured i would put it on here anyways just to see about what it is worth and what people thought about it. i have been thinking of stealing the car from him and atleast repainting it and i have a chevy 350 sitting around and dropping that in there. so might turn into a project after i finish my grand am.

I have about 6 of those sitting in my back yard, so if you do decide to redo it I have more than enough parts. The value on these cars isn't very good yet, but I am hoping they well be worth more someday. I know the Camaro's are starting to gain value.
