The United States Post Office isnt that dumb anymore.....
-
So I sold my AFC and shipped it out on December 15th priority mail with delivery confirmation, the post office recieved it on December 17th. It was never delivered to the address that I had on there. So basically it was lost at the post office before it was delivered. Since I didnt buy insurance I am not covered for a penny and they even claim that it was their fault. I dont think I will ever use the United States Post Office ever again to ship a package......8 days later still no package.

Brian, in the small chance that you didn't think of this for next time: Use Tharaldson's (thats where you work right?) Fedex acct. and pay cash at the fed-ex location. Extra cheap and Fed-Ex quality shipping. I use my company acct and it save me a bundle.good idea, i will keep that in mind next time....

USPS is the only way I ship unless it is too big of an item. Priority mail is the best deal around.
Same with me. Especially with flat rate boxes.
I have had them lose things but they were always found.I will never use dhl again. They are the worst of them all. Of the few packages i sent they got damaged and they always decided to charge me more then what i was quoted after they had already shipped the package.
UPS is alright but for practically the same price you can ship it usps and it will get there alot sooner.
I have never used fedex for the simple fact i have gotten packges shipped thru fedex and they never try to deliver them. I always have to pick them up. If i didn't know the packages were coming i would never get them.

It's usually good to get the insurance anyways just in case. We use UPS most of the time when we ship guns out, and in the past 10 years we've only had to claim twice, which was because they ended up getting damaged in transport. They reimbursed us for the amount and were pretty easy to work with. So far we've never had any packages lost using any delivery service.
