Great to here not only for the drag strip staying open. But, that you(tintmasters) are still considering sponsering the events. Thanks for your work and efforts to continue events like this.

We have our concerns that we might not have the support, as the last year was kind of a flop. Having the track events in the tintmasters name is quite expensive. We gain no income from the track, we payout for each event. Basically we do this year after year to give our customers, friends, and competition, a place to gather and have fun. We are wondering that being there is a lack of support for the track or tintmasters, if it is going to be worth even hosting these events in 2007.

No matter what happens with drag racing for 2007, we are planning on teaming up with Donny Brooke and co-hosing some road Race events in Brainerd this summer. More details on this to follow.

I guess for helping hand/support, I plan to hit up other somewhat local forums and let them know in advance to participate.. Figured whatever can help to make sure we aren't in doubt again in 2008, etc. etc.

I can say I was at each event, spread the word usually getting a buddy or two to enter as well. I hope to continue doing this during this season. Hopefully more will show their support this year and following years. Props to Tintmasters and everyone responsible for bringing affordable street leagal races to us.
