    acceleration is relevant to hp not tq, kinda long, but where it compares the F1 engine and cummins in an identical vehicle was easy to follow and worth the read

      Didnt learn anything i didnt know, but it was a good read, and a well put together article.

        I refuse to beleive that (Runs outside to hug V8 plus nitrous bottle) 🙂

        The only thing I don't like about the article is the fact that they calculated two complete oposites.

        And the indy car is making nearly 3 times as much hp, but the cummings is barely making twice as much Tq. Do the same calc with a V8 making 300 hp, 360 lb ft of tq, peak at 6000 rpms, and a V6 making say 310 hp, 280 lb ft of tq peaking at say 6400 rpm, I wonder what the outcome would be.
