That must suck, i'm so glad I changed my major and dont have to do calc anymore, I was always good in math till I got to that, still doesnt make any sense to me.

Ya, Coyk's tests were pretty tough. He is a good teacher though, pay attention to him.

He's my favorite teacher by a long shot, no doubt about that. I'd love to have him teach all my math classes that i'll have to take but that won't happen.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. If the AVERAGE grade is a 40, that means way too many people aren't doing the proper preparations for the tests.

If you think the real world has easier problems, well, I hate to be the one that tells you but the answer is no. It's not easier.

Could just be similar to our calc tests. He makes the tests ridiculously hard on purpose and states that from the beginning of each semester. He expects average test scores to be 50ish% but curves accordingly.

And that is ok as well. To make you work hard to get whatever score you get is a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.
