what is the point of producing a rifle that you can only effectivly shoot one time every 20 seconds or so?

That cartridge has almost the same amount of muzzle energy of a 50 BMG. It is throwing a 750 grain bulllet at approximately 2300fps. Depending on the powder and the bullet muzzle energy is close to 10000ft/lbs. It was designed to be a last resort rifle cartridge for charging animals.

I want to test fire that, looks like fun. Most of them people didnt look like they knew what they were doing when it came to shooting that high of a power of rifle, the guy at the end sure did though, it wouldnt be flying out of there hands and stuff if they would have held it properly. Does anyone know who makes them, our gun shop could sure use one, lol.

Wouldn't a little smaller gun that could be shot more than once be more effective for a charging animal?

Looks like most of the people in the vid would only get one shot, after that they'd be picking the gun up off the ground. What a bunch of dorks. 😛 You could see some of them didn't even have the gun tight to their shoulder.
