is this illegal

Yeah seriously, that exchange in even the worst conditions should take 30 seconds max, not over a minute!
-
I rode the bus to class today, but im definately taking the truck out after class........it has been nice conditions that last couple days since we have had almost no snowy roads all year.
-
ha from the sounds of it i am glad i just slept in and skipped class it would have been no fun taking my bald ass tires through this snow in my integra
-
nice..nothing like beating the shit out of a loaner/dealer car
-
The brakes on my Cavalier went out last night on my way home from work, so that was an interesting drive home......in the shop now (probably the master cylinder)
-
i had some fun last night too....almost got stuck going over 45th since it was the only road they had plowed at 1130 last night...and there was about a 2-3 foot high snowpile on the intersection.
-
the cressida owns in the snow... takes a bit to get her going but after that any acceleration and she is sitting sideways... now i only wish i could get her started again... died at expressway parking lot...

Shit, I had no problems at all this morning. I thought the interstate interchange was just fine. There wasn't even snow!I am kinda scared on how the lowered Honda will handle the extra snow at lunch though.
Last time it snowed all i could hear was snow scraping along the bottom of my CRX, what really sucks is hitting the chunks of snow/ice that falls off cars, every once and a while I hear them pinging off my exhaust. I do have to say I busted a few good size drifts that were on campus last weekend. But the less I have to drive the better (lowered hondas FTL right now). And living on campus not having to worry bout driving to class FTW!

Oh I forgot, if you're doing it on purpose it'll be looked at as exhibition/reckless driving (if you have RWD you can probably get away with it, but there's no reason why a FWD would have the ass end slide sideways unless you're E-braking or something). I see ppl getting pulled over for it all the time on campus, luckily me and my friends havent gotten nailed for it.
-
i've kind of come to the conclusion that if you get pulled over, that meant a cop saw you and you didn't see them first.. which means you weren't paying close enough attention to be screwing around as much as you were.
Naturally there are exceptions.. but it's something to ponder.
-
If there is NOBODY around and you start messing around and a cop drives by that doesn't mean you weren't paying close enough attention, just means he saw you before you saw him. No possible way to injure bystanders unless they are retarded and decide that walking/driving by a car spinning in circles is a smart idea...
BTW I got exhibition driving for messing around in an empty portion of the MHS parking lot, with rear wheel drive...Hjermstad got owned too

Quattro + Blizzak FTMFW. Late last nite was the best driving of the entire season. Several parking lots were brutally violated. All manners of vehicular debauchery were committed. Roads (even interstates) were totally empty, and no plows had been out yet.I know I ripped around in my RWD car for about an hour. Got it to do almost axis spins in my parking lot for a couple mins straight...needless to say it ended up dry pavement after a short bit.
Then we took out a hood, and attached it to a buddy's diesel pickup and towed some people on the streets, parking lots etc.
Driving home in my RWD car was hell though. I think I got stuck like 4 times in like a 6 block area. Hills FTMFL. At one point, I tried moving and my car just completely lost its ass and the rear end just slid completely down into a gutter.

i can vouch for those tickets... haha.
and who says your back end cant slide out in a FWD vehicle? my girlfriends car has really good front tires and some decent back ones and that makes the ass end slide out all time, even before all the recent snow.
