Reasons why you can't use auto power directly to power a PC typical comp pwr supplies are +12/-12v combined, along with +5/-5V, depends on ATC/ATX style Computers use a very tightly regulated power supply ( as the voltage does not vary more than a few milliVolts, if that, from the actual supply voltage. More or less would destroy/cause malfunction of the hardware. Due to the charging/discharging process of the alternator/starter of the vehicle, the voltage available will vary from app. 10.5V to 13.8V in most vehicles. Other reasons.....but these two are the main ones.

This deck is retailed around $575-$600 for the JVC, and you deck IMO being 3-4 yrs old is prolly on its last leg..... But I will put the word out for anyone that wants a inexpensive flip out..... Jason Christopherson tintmasters motorsports www.tintmasters.net (701)239-8468 Yeah, what Jason said, that top deck retails for about $700 and the bottom one retails for $900 (MSRP, I know you can find "deals" online)

That way your cars fixed and you get some extra cash. (Keep in mind don't get the car fixed at the same place you get the estimate.) I've gained almost $300 that way. Good Luck. 67 skylark, goldish tan. Got a decent amount from the insurance but parts are harder than shit to find for that year. I found everything I need and I am going to do most the work myself. Can't do paint though. If anyone can color match or do a color change for resonable I would rather shoot the money their way then to a shop.

Pm'd vato- The biggest reason that I am looking for one of you DIY'ers is becuase you guys probably have a bit of primer/clear laying around. I'd really rather avoid going and having a pint mixed up when I would only need about 1/4pint of each. So what I am thinking is I supply the paint and then pay you guys like $50-75. Body shop wanted that amount plus materials, which woulda been another $75.

Don't use a cleaner wax until you get off as much glue as you can. Otherwise, it just messes up the pad and can (not often) push chunks of dirt from sticking in the glue into your paint.

My system ain't down packed. I go to a do it yourself wash and rinse it and soap and spray wax. Then I use turtle wax polishing compound and use a cheap craftsmen buffer. Then I do a layer of turtle wax regular wax and buff. Then to keep it nice I'll use a quick detail spray or spray it off if its real dirty
