Well we're about 96% sure its a cold solder joint or jointS. Wasnt working at all so after i changed oil i drove around with the heat cranked and after about 10 minutes it started working. Let it sit overnight and it didnt work again so i took a blowdryer to JUST the amp and it worked about 2 minutes into the blowdryer. So something is expanding enough when it warms up to make the contact. My dad could probably fix it himself but it'd end up voiding the warranty most likely so i'll probably end up returning the amp to have them fix it.

i understand. i know alot, but far from everything. so if you have knowledge to share then by all means share. as i may learn something new and i am all for that. with many it is all about being LOUD and impressing those a block away. and while i have been down that road in the past i am not there now. many i know know that i am into car audio. when they get into my ride they are like lets here this bad boy. and you can see the dissapointment when it is not loud. but it does sound good. i know it can sound better though. interesting. i borrowed an older vhs-c camcorder for HIN this past weekend. better low light would have been nice more zoom would have been nice. it had 16x optical and 300 digital, but digital was turned off. battery life was pretty poor. about 2hrs with a duracell battery. had to stopat walmart for a new one on the way to chicago. they were 30 each so i picked up a pair of them. sure glad i did that. 30 or 90 minutes per tape. depending on which mode you chose. but the tapes were cheap. what are the benefits of doing the hard drive based ones? do they come with software to put movies onto DVD from these hard drive based camcorders? i have 2 layers of peel and seal in my cutlass. been on there for 3 years now. only had a few pieces fall off and those were on the trunk lid. i have 200+ sq ft in there. of course i did everywhere i could get. i went this route due to money savings over others. it did stink for a bit though since it is asphalt based. the expanding foam was used in the trunk lid and helped alot. but be careful as i sprayed that when it was still a little cool. and as the temps rose it expanded more. no bulges or anything, but i did have trouble a couple times opening my trunk since it had come out the holes and started to cure where the lid met the seal or the metal. but there are lots of options out there now. hit some car audio forums and see what is used and what works. remember though that this adds weight. so if you plan on racing know you will be slower if you add alot. if done higher, as in upper half of car it will also throw off things a little bit. I know it is from the dead, but I think the cover would look best as a JDM red top Ry [image: IMG_1454.JPG]

Let me give my .02 since I've worked at Harolds before and after Connie left. Harolds was good when Connie worked for Steve. We had plenty of work and happy customers. When Connie left hell broke loose. She's the one that kept that business running. I worked there for about 7 more months after . Steve got a new shop, got a gay car wash, switched up how everything was done and basically didn't now what the f*ck he was doing. That didn't last long. We had slim to no customers and I basically quit coming in. So that was it for Harolds. About Connie, she does know what she's doing. She just does things different. but she gets the job done right. She was picky as hell, I know. She never really got too crazy on buffing which I hear she is doing now. She also is a very good business women. About SLD which is where I work now. We also do an exellent job. Kevins 3 stage buff is superior and he also nows what he's doing and is very picky too. I'd say we do some things differently but we get the job done. So I guess what I meant to say is this. Every shop has their own way of doing things. It's doesn't matter how they do it as long as the customer is happy. That's what people go in to business to do. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG???????????!!!!!!!!
