I've been listening to "Conservative Talk Radio" for a few days straight and haven't heard Ron Paul mentioned once.. it makes me sad AND angry. So now all these people are endorsing McCain and saying "No, RLY - he's conservative! SRSLY!" As if we should believe them. There really isn't a conservative candidate BEING MENTIONED at ALL in the news.. so it seems like we're going to be stuck with bullshit, because people won't keep themselves informed. I'm not saying I keep myself well-informed.. but I'm trying.. and the more I learn, the more our current "choices" for candidates scare me. Gun ownership comes up a lot.. I own guns. multiple guns. Of the guns I currently own, only two are semi-autos, and I spent a lot of time and money training in the use of one in particular when I was still planning on going into law enforcement. I carried my glock for work for almost two years. If I decide to go back into the field someday, I want to use MY firearm, because I trust MY firearm over one somebody else has used and maintained. Not looking forward to losing my rights at all.. semiautos aren't the problem, it's their wrongful use. Christ, look at what they did on airplanes.. no toenail clippers. No lighters. Please, no more than an ounce of anything fluid. No bringing your own bottled drink. Knitting needles A-OK. 'gun control' isn't my biggest issue.. I don't even know what my biggest issue is. This is as relevant a thread as I'm going to find.. I'm sick of people not paying attention to WHERE THE HELL THEIR LANE IS AND WHERE IT'S GOING. Crossing 10th, crossing University, I nearly get rubbed on by two different people within about a minute because they decided to go straight from the "turn only" lane. when i was in vegas last year my dad and i were on the strip and we saw about 5 of them cruising together i guess they were kinda showing them off and i guess after that they were going to la to drop off celebrities at an award show i got a vid and some pics of it they sound and look awesome i heard 120k msrp though

I wasn't saying anything bad about buying Chinese stuff, if you're referring to my post. I meant we're actually borrowing money from China (and other countries) to pay for stuff.. as of right now. Nothing really about our business relationship, other than China owns about half of our debt.. therefore I used China as an example of where we're getting the money to pay for the refunds (using money we don't have). I love our way of getting lots of cheap stuff from overseas, don't get me wrong.. most of my toys are made anywhere other than here.
