From the US Dept of State website (travel.state.gov) : Foreign Entry Requirements: CANADA – Passport or proof of U.S. citizenship such as a birth certificate, naturalization certificate, and photo ID required. Minors (under 16) traveling alone or in someone else's custody must present written authorization, signed before a notary, from the parent(s) or guardian. Visas are not required. Canadian immigration officials at ports of entry will issue persons planning to stay longer than 180 days a visitor's record. Anyone with a criminal record (including a DWI charge) should contact the Canadian Embassy or nearest Consulate General before travel. U.S. citizens entering Canada from a third country must have a valid passport. For student or business travel, check with the Canadian Embassy, 501 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20001 (202/682-1740) or nearest Consulate General: CA (213/346-2701), MI (313/567-2085), NY (212/596-1700 or 716/858-9501), or WA (206/443-1375). Internet: www.canadianembassy.org However, I just talked to a friend of mine (her dad works for the Border Patrol) who said if you have more than one form of ID to make sure to have it with you (passport or birth certificate), but if you just have your Drivers License, you should be fine.

And are you planning on going to the GF event? Hopefully. You always take nice pics. Next time you should try and get some pics of my getting a little sideways = ), which shouldn't be a problem if the surface is like what it was like at the dome. Keep up the good work. not a problem with you using the pics. and yes i will be at the GF auto-X. now that i have learned a little bit from the first one i hope to improve the shots for the second one. not quite sure what i was after when i got to the fargodome, but after awhile i decided i was going after bodyroll for one and spinouts for two. i had never been to one of these so i was just watching and going with the flow. we will see how the sideways and three wheel shots work in GF. it seems the lot there is alot less gravel and more straight blacktop. but not sure which part they will be using. so we will see. while checking out the manitoba galleries i saw many pics i liked. now i just need to repeat them. as i like the severe body roll even though it does nothing for the time. and i like wheels in the air, as i do for drag racing, but i have to be at the right place at the right time for that to happen. and again i will share those. My car club is having its annual summer show. www.jamestownclassiccarclub.com (click on 2005 Buffalo Rally) July 9th is the actual show and shine and poker run. It is a North Dakota Street Rod Assoc. pick site this year, so it should have a good turnout this year. If anyone is interested in showing, and plans on showing up friday night, there is a street dance going on, you can PM me for details if you want. PM or send me an email for any other questions you might have. Would be nice to have a good turnout on imports, sport compacts, and you few fellow sport truckers. Easy enough drive for people from GF, Fargo, or Bismarck.

I might be able to make it. I'm going to a wedding that starts at 4:00, but I'm not sure how long that will keep me busy.
