Link to Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=205663436154549 Hey everybody. There will be a 9/11 Community Tribute at the Scheels on 45th St. parking lot on September 11th from 1-230PM. Its purpose is for us to join together to not only remember those on 9/11, but to support local first responders as well. Motorcycle and car/truck groups/clubs are welcome to organize and create an informal "show n shine" type of event on their own, as well as potentially putting together a cruise prior/after if desired. Perhaps individuals would like to meet up at Tintmasters around noon on 9/11 and cruise to Scheels around 1245? Just an idea. Local media will be discussing it soon. Please help get the word out, tell your friends/family and invite your friends to the Facebook event. This is a time for all of us to get together and remember, we will never forget.

I also know that there have been grumblings about the lack of shows locally so I assumed there would be at least a couple cars from the states up there. The shitty thing is they booked it on the same weekend as the 2 day event (which I would have also like to have attended). Sorry if I made it seem like I EXPECTED people to go elsewhere, wasn't my intention at all.

I would love to say that I will do this, but I actually cancelled my florida spring break plans in lieu of working a full week and making some $$$$, just like most other people.
