    My car is stuck in 4th gear.
    Linkage still moves so I thought I broke the shift selector took top off trans. and it was fine.
    Can’t figure out why won’t shift. I need help:icon_scratch:

      learn how to drive.....(sorry i had to do it)

      if worst comes to worst call the dodge dealerships, try some that sponser on srt-4 forums and stuff like that. you got the new one in and it didnt fix it?

        I had this happen in my Spyder...

        Ended up that it was a broken shift rail. Had to replace the whole thing b/c it shredded up the inside with the broken parts floating around in there.

        Could be a broken shift fork too...

          yup, probably rail or fork...did you miss a gear or anythin when it happened? I am actually leaning towards rail because if the fork was broken you could use 3rd and 4th still...

          At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

            Yeah... Mine was stuck in 5th, I was able to get it in to Neutral by shoving it so I cold get towed from Bemidji :rolleyes:

            My tranny broke when I shifted at like 6500+rpms passing some old grandma on a 2 way highway, but I think it was weakened when I mis-shifted the day before hot rodding around :icon_jokercolor:
