        Just a lil thought...
You know what would complete your JDM conversion?
        Get some DC5 TYPE R RIMS:icon_thumleft:

I wanted to do so for some time, but they are so damn expensive and hard to come by in near mint condition. So I settled for factory rims with JDM R centercaps.

What would actually complete the JDM conversion?:::

RHD (a good $7K to import a front clip)
rest of the JDM center counsel (although the type-s and iS over there has the same as this) (about $300)
carpet and mats (again, Type-s and iS has same/similar, Type-R has the option of blue/red) (about $400)
ITR cams, pistons (cams, $400; pistons, i think $500)
ITR tranny with helical LSD ($1500-3000newish)
ITR rims ($1300 or so, or new at $500-600 a piece)
ITR brembo brakes and suspension (the Rotora kit and Mugen SS are well enough, although I like the wider stance of the R, easily fixed with some spacers for $300) ($3000-4000)

If you really wanna go full Type-R, youd have to get rid of the sunroof, lighten the body and strengthen it at the same time.....this is why it will never be even close to a REAL Type-R, the bodies are actually different. This is also why I was happen to see that they came out with more Integra Type-S parts.

To finish what I was doing:
figure out how to modify OUR LHD floor mats to have Integra Type-S on them, although I think that they dont have those, only Integra ones.
get ahold of a Gathers radio and modify to fit, or just get one that doesn't say Acura on it
and last, but not least the easiest one, get the 01-02 Civic SI keys, and have them cut and programmed for the car to match. Really wanted to do this, but never got around to do it.

Total to finish this much for factory JDM: approx $500 plus whatever radio you wanted. I was going to get the big double din kenwood touchscreen dvd/navi, but spent the money on christmas gifts instead.

          Ry

Rumor has it that they have been done in the $39000 range. A Type-R in US dollars is approx $29800, last I checked. Plus shipping and converting brings them up there. As of right now, from what I have heard, there is no company that can legally do this right now. Motorex out in Cali was the only one that was last known to do them on a regular basis, but they charged upwards of an additional $35000 just to do so.

                          Morning bump.

                                  Options:
1.) Full cash/loan payment towards me for full amount
2.) Vary down payment, $2K/$17.5k loan, $4K/15.5k loan, $6K/$13.5k loan for examples.

To give out ideas, I financed almost the entire vehicle through my bank ($19000). $375 a month, 7% interest for 62 months, this includes a protection plan in case I get injured or lose my job, they cover the payments for quite a few months, otherwise I was looking at just 60 payments.

Still waiting for offers, still no hurry. But of course, the longer I go on this, the more miles Ill put on, and the lower the asking price will go. But we all know how much Honda/Acuras depreciate (It only depreciated $1000 this past year, after putting on 12K miles). Thats less than 5% depreciation. As it gets older, the less itll depreciate.
