Phats,
You got a decently quick car. You or any of your buddies up there w/ 15.00 and faster cars interested in running the MN Mayhem? 10 hours of open lanes w/ grudge match and quick 16 races? July 10th. I need any registries ASAP. Contact me on here or call me @ the shop if you need more details.Nick

yup that's me, but isn't the auto cross that day, u can drag just about every other weekend or so, but this is the only autox event that i've heard of in the area for a while, or am i wrong?. Hell i could try both i suppose, what's the story with the shoot out??

To me driving around cones in a parking lot doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, but maybe thats just me. If i were to do anything of that nature i'd wanna flat out road race.
The event im discussing is a once a year event. It consists of the fastest import and domestic street cars in the area. It's a heads up grudge match style drag race. The event will go from 11am to 9pm on July 10th. As of right now we have roughly 80 racers registered.

Welcome to the board.
St Cloud DOT in cooperation with AARRF Racing (All American Road Racing Federation www.aarrf.com) facility is hosting a road course/auto-x/drift track day on July 17. I agree with Tufte on this one, driving around cones kinda sucks, a nice twisty track is much better (though they do have some cones to simulate a Chicane in the straightaway.)
I MIGHT make it out to the St Cloud event, depending on how the dynotune goes and if I can talk the wife into not wanting to go shopping and go racing instead

I know a couple of people from around here go there to watch/race. Stephen Bradley, Dustin Lysne, and a couple of others have been then on a fairly regular basis.
Also, I think there is an Auto-x in Minot over Labor Day weekend during their car show (Motormagic I think it's called). Crazy Rob and some of the other Minot guys can probably provide more info on that.

Can some give me more info' on this race??? I might have a high'15's legend, but i might be intrested in knowing at least to watch..yes/no? As i quote one of the memebers(i do it for fun too)Well the cut off for entry is a 15.00 or better for this particular event. But yes, definately come and spectate. As for anyone else as well that cant make the race or doesn't make to race show up and spectate the event, there should be plentyof excitment worth seeing.
