$27,300 EX V-6 Sedan
$30,900 325i Sedan
$29,975 C230 Sedan
Am I really comparing things in different price ranges?

I dont know about the rest of everyone else, but i know I wouldnt wanna buy a car for say 60,000 and have it brake and have to pay for WAAYYY overpriced labor and parts when I could buy a honda. When it all comes down to it, Cars were invented for one thing, to make it easier to get from point A to point B. I'm not disputing that german cars have luxury or nice interiors. But Honda, toyota and nissan are good CARS, not semi OK cars that have cool interiors and lots of cool features. Honestly what features do u get in new 3 series that u cant get in a new accord? I dont know my german cars well enough to know if thats a good comparison or not, but w/e.
I do, however, admire body lines of german cars. They are much more artistic and thought out than most any japanese car. But I wouldn't buy a car just cuz it looked nice.
A benz isnt even really a status symbol anymore. Anyone can get a loan, Not saying you did, cuz I know you a ballah!
but still, I know i will probably never have the money to buy a mercedes, but that doesn't really bother me. I think brand new cars are overpriced the way it is, let alone luxury cars.
It's kinda like buying a first class ticket on an airplane. u get a little more room, free pretzels, maybe a scotch if its a long flight, while the people sitting behind u payed half of what u did and will get there at the same time u will. people who drive euros would be the first class, jap car drivers would be standard flight, and the people driving dsms would be standyby...lol
If you just are trying to get to point A to point B, you may as well buy a hyundai accent or something... or a corolla they are the most reliable / best gas mileage. However, we all know that we didnt get in to cars to get from point A to point B.
Jap Cars outnumber Germans 3 to 1? It really depends on where you live, i see about comperable amounts here...

Obviously there are more jap cars here in the F-M area, but being down in the cities lately theres not a 3:1 ratio at all.
As for the driving effect of it, driving the SLK was way more fun than most Jap cars that I've driven..and the facts state it you can get a 3 series for the same price as an accord.
Euro cars are starting to get a more influence on the market, some of you just haven't noticed it.
As for interior, I drive a Honda..and the interior is pretty plain especially for a 2002...but they are getting better..But most Euro cars have they style down inside and out IMO.
