A couple of weeks ago my friend in a stock rx7(exaust and bov) drove by and someone in the crowd said "look at that ricer" WTF! I think people are throwing that word around a little too much, and why is everyone so pissy about riced cars anyway? So what if they dont fit into your particular taste. I get a chuckle out of some of them, but never look down on them. I get a kick out of it when a guy in a neon, or cavi. revs on me.

Heh, it is really funny when people ask me what I race and I say, "An Eagle Talon". Their first thing to say is always, "Ohh, a ricer". Then I tell them it has over 500whp and runs 10's and they take another attitude.

Good laughs. I will have to say that there are a lot of disgusting ricers around town. But, just because a car is foreign doesn't mean it is a ricer to me. Like you said, a stock RX7 with exhaust and intake or whatever, that isn't a ricer. Your EVO isn't a ricer. Most of the Honda's around town and Cavi powers are ricers, but who cares. That is up to them to drive what they want and have taste in what they want.

Yeah but is that gonna give me the downforce I need? Park benches usually have slits in between the boards. You have to realize I'm not a normal driver. I'm constantly going upwards of 40mph and need that downforce to stay on the road.

Good thinking but I think if I take your idea and go with it, I could actually get horsepower and downforce.

Instead of duct tape, the other day at Wal-mart I saw some packets of NOS stickers. I could buy say 30 of those and use them.

i think the general public that doesnt know much about tuning thinks that anything with a fart can is a ricer, especially if they have neons, altezzas, etc. though most people who are really going for speed dont usually have neons i guess.

anyway, i think duct tape only adds somewhere around 5hp a foot? last i checked nos stickers add between 8 to 10 hp each. definitely go with the stickers.
