I hope to god you honestly don't rely off a football game to determine the leader of this nation? I thought people had more intelligence today. I rely off cold hard numbers and statistics that involve variables included in the election. Incumbent's majority during a state of war is in direct relation to the consensus of the public and fear of public safety. Gallop polls are done in the most accurate fashion of all 3rd party polls available. Football games are football games, simple as that.

If you read my comment, I stated I only relied on variables that are in direct relationship to the consensus of the voting public, or electoral college. Football statistics last time I checked, didn't link to either of those, it is mere superstition. I care not think the leader of the "Free world" is up to superstition. But if that will be your apocryphal (go ahead - better use a dictionary on that one) belief to which the socialists around here tend to cling on; believe what you will. Better start campaigning for 08.....

Ok then how about this one. An incumbent that does not score above 50% in the polls has never been re-elected...

Anyone have any ideas on the outcome of the proposed smoking ordinances?

I think measure 1 will fail, 2 will pass, and 3 will pass.

Gonna go vote today after my afternoon class.

I wouldn't even care about smoking. I don't even notice it in restaurants, and I don't drink, so no bar problems. But its those DAMN people that stand around the doors to buildings on campus.

George W. Bush --"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."—May 25, 2004

While that is a humorous line in your sig file, do you know the story behind it? The people who he was refering to had their hands re-attached. They were there with the prez, along with the doctor that re-attached them, and a producer of a documentary about the brutality of Sadom Pussein and his methods. It sorta makes it a little less humorous I guess.
