Take matters into your own hands, kick the holy shit out of him for stealing. The cops will never do anything about it.

Bad Idea, if this guy ended up wanting to be a dick about the whole thing...
For ex:, when I was in court, I heard how this guy was in for theft, he stole something of value from this kid who owed him like $70, which was a ps2, than pawned it off for the cash... Now, the other kid reported the item stolen to the police, and the kid who stole the ps2 got a fine + had to pay back the kid for the ps2.. So in reality he got the shit-end of the stick.

I would look thru the box that the Amp came in, there should be papers of serial #'s, and etc. etc.

If no luck, just corner him with numerous friends and beat him up, 🙂 hard for him to fight that, since that could be hard to prove 😄 hehe

Just call the cops. You have nothing to lose. You have the box it came in. Just don't be a dick to the cops and you should be ok.

i ran this situation by a cop friend of mine. He said chances are that the kind of guy that would do this

ie: steal something with hopes of reselling

would have a previous record of similar problems. Get as much info together as you can and goto the police station. Fill out a police report. If there is a record they'll do a little more work, after a week they'll get back to you. If something easy turns up, your golden. If it takes to much time they'll say "we couldn't find anything". Then:> ...(looks at the baseball bat..) Lol

I already talked to the police, in fact I was able to get my friends dad to go take care of it. He went and talked to him and of course like everyone would expect he denied the whole thing. But! The officer said he had all the classic signs of lying and the only way I am going to get it back is to get jesse's friend to man up and give me a statement. I wasn't able to get one before hand because he didn't want to be involved...so I am not a big fan of this guy...Jesse's friend said he sees alot of him and he doesn't want Chris to hold a grudge sooooo....not sure how "Manly" that really is...sounds like another coward to me....

Well pawning it was a mistake so that guy deserves to get caught. There are ways to be smart about it. Pawning stuff you get nothing and have a high risk of getting caught.

Getting into a fight now of days will get you into just as much trouble.

If you friend/whatever buys it. Bring a small tape recorder and tape it. Try and get him to confess where he got it. :icon_salut:

haha whaaaaaat. Actually it's worked before, my dads coworker said something like that in a situation when the cops were acting uninterested in his call to them, it turned them into a bunch of VERY interested cops in dealing with it. And no, he didn't get in trouble for threatning or whatever either...
