Ouch...that reminds me I should prob buy my books soon, not looking forward to the tuition bill either.
It kinda funny, i was happy with the tuition bill for NDSU. Oak Grove was WAY WAY more expensive than NDSU. Im kinda pissed that i have to pay $80 to 'fix' peoplesoft through my tuition. -

I would highly recommend getting into the dorms for at least your freshman year. You'll definately regret living off campus.
Well its alot cheaper not living there, plus i already know a ton of people that go there, and im in a bunch of activities there. So if its the whole meeting people thing, iv got that covered. -
One semester I put $1500 into books. Double major art/secondary english education and all 3rd year classes. You can't get art books used 'cause the dirty art fags never turn them in (art history book is like 250 by itself) and the english classes all had 10 or more required books. Most of which were so obscure that i had to go through Barnes & Noble. All 22 credits of that semester sucked my ass.
I suggest dropping out and becoming a bum instead.

Meh, not really getting away from anybody if i move into the dorm. My parents live in enderlin beacuse my dad works at ADM there and my mom is a forester in lisbon. So we own a house here in fargo that me and my sister use for school. So its like a dorm by itself. a big ass dorm.
I thought about being a bum, but i don't wanna turn out like some people on this board :icon_rabbit:

Yeah I gotta order books today, i'll be heading to NDSU today to get a parking permit and then probably order books online. I have no clue what books I need though lol...

And since everyone else seems to be posting their stuff I suppose I could throw in: NDSU Freshman, Electrical/Computer Engineering, living off campus

NDSU, Hospitality and Tourism Management, one last semester:icon_thumright: What are you going for and are you living in the dorms?I am actually in the tourism buisness now. I work for princess cruises and let me tell you, It's a very rewarding buisness. The only way one would really like this line of work is if they are a people person. I would love to do this for life to tell you the truth. It's really alot of fun meeting new people and seeing new faces in an otherwise dank city...(Juneau) Just brightens up my day to see someone smile. Also, it's fun to make their day because since you made them smile, they will carry it on and make several others smile. A smile is a very infectious thing and a terrible thing to waste...
I have been looking at going to UND for Air traffic control for a long time now but I haven't decided on whether I want to do it through the Air force instead and the only reason I would do that is that it would be free college. However, I would not be guarenteed to go to school for that...so it's all about choices so far...

I never lived in the dorms, and I don't think I could have, it would have driven me crazy. I like my own space and my privacy, and honestly I didn't want to be on the NDSU campus 1 minute longer then I had to be...
Oh and sitting by somebody in class and talking about car is a bad idea, you won't get anything done haha...
