photographers here?

Wondering if anyone here has some good photography equipment and if by chance anyone is using a Pelican brand case for it. Got some equipment coming next week and am not sure what size case to get for it.

I have a good camera, but thats about all the further I have gone at this point. I still keep it in the box when im not using it.

Ive got a bunch of pelican type cases for my night vision equipment.

2 of them are large, maybe 1'x2'x8" tall and could hold a camera and a lens or 2. I tried last night to fit my 70-200 2.8, 10-22 and rigital rebel with battery grip in it but there wasnt enough room.

Damn, I think that's the size I was thinking about getting but if a rebel won't fit, mine won't.

Keeping it in a box will only last so long for me. Don't want to pull the lens off every time I put it away.

I dont pull the lense off. I leave the box open and put it on the shelve in the closet. I just make sure to put the cap on it
