BMW M3 (E36), you can get some nice ones for around 20-25k (<u>Here</u> is a clean example). While maybe not as fast as an Evo or STi, you do get a nice upgrade in class. Plus the aftermarket is huge for these cars.

Around here there is more proven power being made with the 4G63 found in the evo/dsm. I'm admittedly a Subie guy, but I will give Mitsubishi its due by saying they make one hell of a car that can be made quick easier than the USDM subarus....now give me a Spec-C S204 and it's a whole different argument.

Yea the STi might be a little out of my range. And really I think the Imprezas are just a little too flashy for me. I like the Evo just a little better. And I didn't think about the M3, I've seen some that are closer to my price range too.

So I was lookin at EVOs and damn even they are way out of my price range. Unless I wanna make payments which I would rather not. Right not its looking like the M3 is my best option. Unless I go with like an Integra or Honda just to save some money for mods.

If an STi or Evo are out of your price range, an M3 is definately out of your price range.

ya and the M3's mods are going to be more expensive as well as parts and repairs. why not save the money and save up and get something you really want, not just spend it to spend it. even if it take a year longer. sell the dsm and buy a good EG or something that well be reliable. and then keep if for a second car when you buy an evo, sti, M3 or what ever, cause you might not want to drive it everyday

                Diesel repairs or performance products.

I was lookin at the E36 M3s. They go for around 10 grand or so. Yea I think I might just get an EG or a DA for now.

It means the swap still needs to be wired.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!
