Junkyard Tournament!
-
Oh back in the day I think I would of had the perfect Car a 79 Ford Fiesta (Not a festiva; this car was only made in 78 & 79) We took out the windows; gave it a hood scoop; used spray paint.. No $ whatsoever into the car.
Oh and we took the exhaust manifold off and it was louder than trucks w/ str8 pipes (prolly way louder) -
i will enter....my car is currently broken down so it can be junkyard!..oh and you can get a good ass turbo kit for $1,500.....www.importbuilders.com
-
yeah, but it has to be $1500 total....car and parts.
-
well my car is worth about $50 right now...so i still have 1450 to spend on my new engine and turbo!!
-
I'd love to get in on this, but my current car is pretty close to a "junkyard" car. And I want to put any "extra" money I make into that. If I find something interesting and worth it, it would be a great way to pass the time this winter. Racing pretty much shuts down.

good work...better get a gasket tho!
-
might be better off getting a whole gasket kit...im sure they are all pretty bad.
-
Would my 91 Festiva count for this tournament? I hope i can find a new transmission for less then 1500. wouldn't that be funny to see a turboed festiva in Fargo!
-
thank god i can get a tubo and a intercooler from a buddy of mine for dirt cheap!! Plus i found a web site for stuff too put on my car.
