Oh back in the day I think I would of had the perfect Car a 79 Ford Fiesta (Not a festiva; this car was only made in 78 & 79) We took out the windows; gave it a hood scoop; used spray paint.. No $ whatsoever into the car. Oh and we took the exhaust manifold off and it was louder than trucks w/ str8 pipes (prolly way louder)

I'd love to get in on this, but my current car is pretty close to a "junkyard" car. And I want to put any "extra" money I make into that. If I find something interesting and worth it, it would be a great way to pass the time this winter. Racing pretty much shuts down.

As far as the Integra goes, we got it running today. It has a blown head gasket and needs a clutch BAD!

Yeah the 1gTeg forum boards said that they blow head gaskets all the time. So I'm going to get a HKS gasket for it.

Would my 91 Festiva count for this tournament? I hope i can find a new transmission for less then 1500. wouldn't that be funny to see a turboed festiva in Fargo!

That would kick ass, do it. You can get a transmission at 7th ave Auto salvage pretty cheep if you do all the work yourself.

How will you decide who wins? What are we building for fastest 1320, or curvies or what? Can you do teams as long as you don't exceed your 1500 budget?

The contest is for the fastest car in a stright line. As far as teams go: I don't see why not, Clutch Victory all together is building my car, but I am paying for all of it.
