gonna do it all with PHP I think. Need to write something from scratch, turning it into a senior project. (and I need a few more functions than on most galleries).

        w00t

prints showed up and look killer!

(picture makes them look a little dark)

They're printed out on a professional Fujifilm paper that's easily heavier than any poster you'll buy in a store. I can get them in glossy and lustre. Glossy is really quite glossy, lustre is about like a traditional photo (with the bit of an eggshell finish).

For those of you who have e-mailed me with interest in getting prints, I'll work on getting pictures together for you to look at - or if you're in town somewhere and are interested in checking out the prints before ordering, I can bring the laptop along and we can look at the pictures I've got for you.

I'll get a final price put up on my website soon (www.dubbsy.com)).

ehhh, I'll still take my 30D. I've got a buddy with a D200 and I like the feel of my Cannon better.

honestly the nikon d50 is not even in the same class of cameras. it is a DSLR, but not even close in the control you have with it.
when i purchased my 20d i gave the d70 a look, but it was a quick look. one of its downfalls was the lowest iso it had. which was 200. i wish i could go lower than the 100 that my 20d has.
the d200 has had some great press and well if i had been shopping recently for a camera it would have gotten more look than the d70 did. likely though i would have still went with the canon.
with me liking to shoot action i so wanted more fps. as well as aiservo all the time if i so choose it. with many of the others you only get it with sports mode. and well that is not gonna cut it. the 20d is also 5shots a second. love it.
                    a much better system imho.
not only that but there seems to be more who use canon. so chance of finding someone near who you can try out other lenses is a nice thing too.

i also had given the pentax ist a look and it felt great in my hands...just was not the same level of camera that the 20d is.

next time though i am looking to step to a 1 series canon for full frame capability. just not sure which one. it all depends on monies and what is out or new at that time.
the 20d still has alot of life left it her though. plus i still have alot to learn and more practicing to do before i drop several thousand on a body.

the great thing though is we have lots of choices.
and can pick the right one for our budget and our needs.

anyways you slice it keep shooting and learning and having fun.
