the only car on your sig list that has decent headlights housings that wouldn't cause too much glare is the WRX. Which car is it for?
As for brands, definately stick with a brand that doesn't have any no-name shitty name parts. Try and find Phillips bulbs/ballasts. Catz, Vision (which I have), Xenon Depot are a few that I trust.

I currently have Flowlighting HIDs from www.oznium.com I can deffinetely see what he means by having projectors. The glare is a little funny. I have 8000k's which arent as great of a light output as 5.3 (i think it is) and 6000k's. But its more of a blue which matches my car. 10000k + gets into the purple then slightly pinkish look. I will never go without them again. They make a huge difference on long trips at night plus they look great. Oznium is really popular on a few other forums and I researched them for a while and for the price of like 259 you cant beat em. Which projectors did you get. I need to look into getting some for my tC.

They are going on my Civic, I was planning on going with Oznium's so i think i will stick to em. I believe my projectors are either TYC or APC dont remember really?? Thanks for the info guys, (PS The WRX will be gettin em soon to don't worry)

another question on the topic, with proper headlight housings should there be and issue putting HID's on any vehicle?shouldnt really be...they have lower wattage than say the silverstars or whatever and you can buy them in any connector style. sometimes with crappy kits they use a generic bulb that you just have to make sit put, then you have to get only their brand replacements. somethign to watch for i guess.
