why is installing a filter a bitch
-
so i got a k &n high performance filter and it was the bitchiest thing to do for what should be such an easy job. i could not fit the flange into the tubing. it literally took me 1 hour to fit it in with a screwdriver. however, I know that the k &n filter has a bigger diameter than the oem filter. Is there some techniques i should know bout that will make my job easier. Also, does the rubber ring that helps seal the tubing a critical component to seal the filter? does it require immediate replacing if the ring is stretched?
