sounds like an abslute waste of money to me. that company obviously charges way too much for their parts. i bet there is around 200k in that car at least. acid dipped the body even to lighten it. basically they took a EVO and turned it into a 1g, to me anyways. no doubt that the car would destroy a road course though.

GaryIt did, I saw it ruin everyone's shit at multiple UK Time Attack events this winter. This is the 'green Evo IX' I've been telling everyone about from when I was over there. Norris Designs are the guys that did the gasket-matching on my head ports, as well. Don't forget he's on street legal tires and 18" Volks during all these runs.
Here's some of the pics I took of it at Silverstone:

i wouldnt say it ugly cause its a 2-door. Its ugly cause its a full on race car that gets the shit beat out of it. Seriously that color isnt flattering on any car, and im sure its chipped and beat to shit by now anyway. I like it and think a 2 door EVO would sell like mad if rear seat entry was good.

GaryThose pics I posted were taken about 3 months ago, at the end of the race season. It was still in top-notch order.
And while I agree about the color, it's the second car I noticed the instant I stepped into the grandstands.
This was the first one I noticed:
