Well.... for a gaming rig, as much ram as you can get would be best.
And I do highly recommend the Intel Core 2 Duo's (if you haven't ordered ur mobo and cpu yet). C2D's own the gaming community as of now.
Vid Card: Good card. Thats what im running now and im very happy with it.
RAM: Not bad. Upgrade to 2gb or more asap
PSU: Good
Hard Drive: Meh. I have had bad luck with seagate. I would go with a Western Digital Raptor drive if I were you. (more expensive but nice for gaming)
CD Drive: Whatever does the job
PM me if you have any questions.

its not a bad rig.
2 gigs isnt necessary yet. I can run most games on high with a gig.

VGA- EVGA 7600 GT KO
HD- Dual Seagate 80's for know
1 gig ram
CD- Pioneer 16x dvd burner -
2 gb is necessary. Most games now arent highly dependant on the Vid card. A lot of games are starting to be more dependant on CPU and RAM.
1gb will run fine, but 2 will make things run smoother.
