yup one of the reasons why I am leavingMost of what is said on this site is complete bullshit. Just try and look past the sarcasm (which is hard on the internet since you are not face to face with the person) and assholery and you'll find some nice people on here.

no I was just saying. Since you guys don't want to help with car advice. I will find it elsewhere.not to be a dick but this isnt a good site for vehicle info. i can count the people that actualy know something on 1 hand. most of the info u get here is something somebody read on the net or the way they think it works with out any experience at all

because the auto matic tranny she wants to use is a piece of shit. honda auto's, especially d series, blow complete ass... like jason said , she doesn't want to listen to our advice..
A. It will never happen.
B. you really just need to learn to drive a 5 speed. -

Actually Mel, I wouldn't let the haters get to you. It could be worse. You could be treated like TORBS.ahhhh, yes a fate worse than death.
On a serious note mel, don't take what others are saying too literally. Those on here who have quick cars are usually more than willing to give ideas on how to improve yours. Sometimes they will give advice you don't want to hear (turbo honda automatic=bad idea, for example) but that doesn't mean the advice is not sincere.
My offer still stands, if you need any help/advice, let me know and I or someone else in Veritas will help as best we can.

ya I understand that some people think it's a bad idea to turbo an automatic. but that doesn't mean that with the right things done to the car it wouldn't work.
And thanks I will take you up on that for other stuff on my car when I get it. But right now I am sticking to honda-tech.com and honda-girls.com

its not a bad idea to turbo an automatic, just that the auto that you would have in that car is not the best candidate to build power with due to weak parts in the tranny that comes with the car you are wanting.
I have a turbo automatic, as does DaveH, fallguy, Jeremy Smith, and a few others on here.

First of all, forums will all have people giving their opinions and ppl aren't always nice about it, but they are giving you advice from what they know, if you don't like it, don't ask for it.
Second, i think it is cool that you are turboing an auto, but i agree you better get good at swapping trannys cuz you will be doing it alot.
Third, check out d-series.org. There is tons of info about turboing D's and even plenty of ppl with turbo'd autos.
And if you need any help, pm me or something cuz i have TONS of D parts and a decent amount of experience working with them.

A turbo'd automatic is the best combination you can put together for the track. I don't know squat about Honda auto trannys, but if they are not strong you'll just end up breaking it and spending more money. Best to try to do it right the first time if possible, it's usually cheaper in the long run too. Of course, weeding out the weak parts as they fail is sorta fun too.
