http://forums.devshed.com/windows-help-34/print-spool-service-won-t-start-error-1075-dependency-342771.htmlI attempted that but I can't find where it says "depends on" like the guy states...I have the exact same problem except I get error 1068...printer worked fine yesterday now nothin...help PLEASE!!!
Check your event viewer for me.....and copy + paste the corresponding event log (should be under application or system) right after you start the (or attempt) to start the print spooler (start - run - services.msc, and start the spooler service)
You'll find the event viewer under administrative tools (make sure you have that option checked to display admin tools, its a taskbar option in windows xp)
Also go into your C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers and delete all objects iinside there (doubt it will solve the issue but a buffer can be created in that folder with those "objects")
Please copy + paste the exact message (with the red mark in event viewer) along with the eventid #, thank you.
