I've personally never had to deal with the police in any way, but I suppose I can retell the story I've told a few times on here already.
Two weeks before Christmas 4 years ago, my mom's car got stolen. She reported it right away and got in contact with the detective that was assigned to her case. A week later they got a call from someone reporting a car all beat to shit and left in a field north of town. The car of course was my mom's. It had a bunch of papers in the trunk that belonged to a woman who was previously convicted of stealing cars. The police had actually been to her house the day before to question her about a different case.
Was anyone charged with anything? Nope. Did anyone do anything after the car was found? Of course not. My mom talked to the detective and he told her that he was "working on it" and that he would call her when he found something out. After that he stopped answering her calls and never returned them when she left messages.
Maybe it's just me, but I think finding a car thief is more important than pulling over random vehicles and hoping to make a bust. Especially when the thief is someone who had been convicted of doing the same thing previously, and is dumb enough to leave evidence in the trunk of the car they stole.

I was reading this thread today in my spare time and on one post it mentioned something about how some people hate it when they sit there and whine and complaine about the instances they have with their pull overs....call me crazy but it looks like that is all this thread is...just ragging on cops and complaining about tickets...that cop is probably enjoying himself...If he were anything like me, I like seeing other people squirm about...

jesus... your a genius kid taunting the cops cause you carry wow.. ok they carry bigger and more most likely and they have this nifty thing called a vest and experience that would most likely PWN your ass in a gun fight. so no the fact that you have your concealed carry probably is a non-issue as a matter of fact i am willing to bet that its a non-issue.ive had some bad some good when it comes to cops ive deserved every ticket ive gotten in one form or another i fucked up.. but at the same time when my stereo got jacked or when my ex flipped her lid and tried to kill me the cops done disafuckinpeared so i have little or no respect for the bpd but the fpd was always pretty decent to me.

Wrong. Most cops carry 9mm's, wussy ass rounds compared to a .45, .40, 10mm, .357mag, .44mag, etc... Also statistics have shown police are HORRIBLE in gunfights, they miss like 90% of shots fired in real life shooting situations. Sure it's still probably a non issue, but the police for the most part are no better with a gun than Joe Schmoe.

a little quick to judge there.... were in my post did i say i was going to get into a shoot out? im not going to throw my life away.... and im not a violent person.... its my right to own a gun.... and i got a license to garry that gun if i choose.... i dont walk around with it... i mearly leave it in my truck.... i also live out in the middle of nowere, remember when those people killed that guy and cut his head off over drugs..... that was a mile away from my house.... i never know what im going to run into around here.... people come out to my part of the counrty all the time and do/deal drungs. and frankly i dont feel safe with meth heads (wich the PD dosent seem to catch) driving around out here... and another thing, why would i announce to the world what i carry around.... its none of you buisness as well as the next guys.... but i will tell you its none of that pussy ass 9mm shit..... and dont fucking call me a kid.... and dont be so quick to judge.... -

damn i have a conceal and carry also...and most of the time have a gun in my truck....i guess im gonna start a shootout with the police too!

wow the cops here have been carrying .40s and .45s for the last couple years and the last fight they were in they didn't miss so bad at all.and a little quick to judge there parker sounded more like bragging rights on that post to me. personally i carry and i feel safe where i live but do i wanna be caught nekid somewhere when i don't feel safe and reach for it and its gone nope.. but your previous post about loading guns and sitting there waiting all comprised my judgment that you brag or are proud of the fact that you own these firearms so don't come off as a kid with a new toy and i wont talk to you like one

So let me get this straight country boy, when the cops catch you speeding or comitting some other minor infraction or whatever else you may classify as "stupid shit", they know that you have a license to carry therefore they don't mess with you.Your logic is that you're above the law because you have a concealed weapon permit, that's right up there with the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Ever.

yes i said i was above the law<----- sarcasim.... did i ever once say i was above the law? do you have a reading problem? maybe you need to get some glasses.... i just said they usualy think twice about pulling you over just to pull you over a.k.a. for something stupid.... like for instance i was listening to my scanner (which i now know is illegal to have in a motor vehicle regardless if it works or not) and they were profiling some little honda with a fart can... but they didnt have any legit reason to pull him/her over.... so they go "well, his liscense plate has a little bit of snow on it".... and they pulled him/her over for that.... that i classify as stupid shit.... i never said that they would'nt pull you over for doing sothing illegal.... i always kept my nose clean, but yet since i drove a loud lil import they would "profile me"(pulling me over for doing a burnout in a AWD CAR!!!)..... now they dont.... they dont bug me over stupid shit anymore.... so with your logic.... you think that everyone that has a permit to carry is above the law? well.... then i would have to say going by your logic that everyone get a permit to carry:icon_joker:and thanks for moving it to "run your mouth" Wes.. i was just going to ask someone to do it
