My Winter Beater

cool the weather were having we can get away with driving a rwd car. That thing reminds me of my 88 turbo supra. I think I have to end up taking caleb to court. Because I should be driving it!
Going to do anything about the rust? If I were to drive it that be the first thing I fix that and alittle paint. That thing could totally come around.

Once you start driving a rwd turbo car you wont want to drive anything else.

RWD in the winter is fine if you put weight in the vehicle, good tires and a driver who isn't a retard

Well I got it running, it runs fairly good, other then their is a off idle stumble when you step on it and it misses a little. But I got new plugs, wires, cap rotor, etc... to install to night.
This car hasn't been on the road since 1998, so it will need some tinkering to get running good, but otherwise has good oil pressure.

If those are the stock mesh wheels, and you have a full set, those were worth some money last time I heard...Ya they are the stock mesh wheels, and I have 4 of them. Only problem is I have 4 front wheels, it didn't come with the wide rear wheels, so it kinda looks funny. Whould look nice on a conquest without the flared body. I plan on putting a set of the stock 5 spoke wheels on it, since I have 2 diecent 9in rears and 9in fronts.

Its comming together good, rust is patched up, ordered all the parts that were shot, complete tune-up. I took it for a few short spins and damn you can tell it has 175hp and 225tq because it hauls ass and the limited slip diff, works awsome.
It purrs like a kitten and takes off like a bat out of hell :icon_cheers:

Now just go to buff out the paint a little, may be shot but still could be shiney, and touch up the nicks. I am excited.
By the way, how do you do a boost controler. I am not too savy on the turbo cars.

Well the COnquest is offically on the road today, I got it cleaned up and driving nice. Going to get a new cat back exhaust put on monday.
I am running about 8lbs of boost now, wonder how much more it can handle?
It still is kind of ugly, but I got a set of new mirrors and headlight motors on the way. My air damn is missing but not sure if its worth $300 to replace it, and I have a new front bumper cover for it too.
I need to clean up the paint and find a way to remove 9 years of tree sap.
