Yea, god forbid your engine should have pure vacum.....(that won't harm anything)

If the bov did malfunction, you would simply backspool your turbo, which would hurt your performance, and wear out your turbo quicker, but if it only happened once, and you noticed, it wouldn't do anything probly. And you would notice if it didn't work, you can hear the turbo backspool.

i've actually heard some good things about the ebay type S knockoff...but then again, you can get a used REAL type S for about 30-40 more...

also, if you want noise, dont recirculate it...but your car WILL HATE you for it...it's not that your stock bov isnt decently loud, it's that its going right back into your intake.

With a MAF car(draw through anyway), it will cause a rich situation when the throttle is closed and the air has already been metered and is released through the BOV. Not everyone has problems, however, and you can tune it out on some models as well.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!
