Cheap computer?

Any good places to go for a cheap computer that will still work fine?

My bro has a dell thats 3 years old that he offered to sell me, but I can't get the damn thing to work. It has a virus, and I can't get it to reformat.

$300-$400?

I don't need it for gaming, I just need it to surf the net, download music, burn cds maybe dvd's, write resumes/reports.

Any ideas?

My brothers computer is a dell dimension 4600, has a 2.66 ghz pentium4 processor, Windows XP home edition, 512 mb ram, 80 gig hard drive 15 inch LCD screen, harmon/kardon speakers/sub, cdrw. As far as the other info I have no idea. Whats it worth roughly?

buy that and throw another stick of 512 ram in it and your set lol

even that 512 will be fine for what you want... but the extra ram will make it faster

I reformated it, but for whataver reason it will not hook up to the internet. I even talked to a dell guy in india.

get just a tower for 300 to 400 from like best buy or walmart.
